Over the weekend of August 1st-2nd 2014, The Boston Great War Commemoration Society hosted a commemorative exhibition at The Drill Hall, Main Ridge, Boston. Funded by the National Lottery, the event was organised and staged solely by the Society without any other support or financial aid from local sources..
It was an outstanding success with over 600 people attending over the two days of the event. Quite amazingly, many quite rare World War I memorabilia were brought in by members of the public for the experts to look at.
The Society wishes to extend its sincere thanks to both the local exhibitors and also those who travelled considerable distances to make the event, the success that it was. We also hope that all of the members of the public who attended will support us at future events. Thank you!
